Balinese massage, a traditional massage developed in Bali as an outcome of the island's absorption of many cultural influences from around the globe since the 1900s. It can be defined as a full-body, holistic treatment inspired by Ayurveda, a mix of traditional Indian medicine and Chinese acupressure. It aims to open the energy channels, absorbing positive energies and eradicating negative energies in the body. 

Technique

Inspired by Ayurveda, Balinese massage includes acupressure, reflexology, and stretching, integrating aromatherapy to enhance relaxation. It focuses on body muscles and specific points on the body with an aim to stimulate the lymphatic system, blood flow, and 'qi' or energy, to remove tension and stimulate healing.
